I Heard

The cartoon opens with Don Redman and His Orchestra performing Don's "Chant of the Weed". Then we see the Never Mine at lunch time; the workers eat lunch at Betty's Boop Tavern, and Bimbo spreads strange rumors about what's going on in the mine. To find it out herself, Betty goes down with Bimbo and meets a team of ghosts playing baseball with a bomb. The bomb blows up, and the explosion throws the ghosts and coal up in the air.

"Morning, Noon and Night" thumbnail October 6 A group of villainous cats from Tom Kats Society Club attack Betty's farm, which is a sanctuary for birds, and kidnap the girl. A rooster turns into a boxing fighter to rescue her and the farm.
