Making Friends

As Betty is reading a book and paying no attention to Pudgy, he starts feeling bored and lonesome. The girl gives him advice "Go Out and Make Friends With the World"; the puppy eargerly follows it and soon befriends a squirrel, a bear cub, a beaver, a frog and many other animals. While Betty is peacefully sleeping on the porch, Pudgy brings his new pals to her house, and they turn it upside-down.
