Minnie the Moocher

The cartoon opens with Cab Calloway dancing in front of His Orchestra while they are playing "Prohibition Blues".
We see then Betty Boop crying at a kitchen table while her father rebukes her for a poor appetite. Unable to tolerate that any longer, the girl sings "They'll all be sorry that they picked on me" and decides to run away. She leaves a farewell note, offers Bimbo to join in the flight and slides out of the window on a blind. The two run off and get into a haunted cave, where a walrus-ghost sings "Minnie the Moocher" in Cab's voice. In the end, Betty and Bimbo dash back to the house, pursued by a gang of witches and ghosts, to the "Vine Street Drag" soundtrack.
