Betty Boop auditions candidates for the swing dance night. When her hope to find the right person is almost lost, she suddenly sees a cleaning maid performing the jitterbug dance. Betty makes her the band leader and introduces the girl as Sally Swing. Sally is definitely the star of this cartoon; according to the Fleischers' plans, she was to replace Betty Boop in the series, as Betty Boop did not correspond to the new time - the Swing Era. However, the Sally Swing character didn't gain much popularity, and no further series featuring her were released.
